Our story
Technology should feel clear, useful and human.
Many businesses know their website, software or internal processes need to improve, but deciding where to begin can be difficult.
The technology may feel complex. Agency processes may feel distant or difficult to follow. AI introduces even more possibilities, but not every tool or idea creates meaningful value.
Softblue was created to offer a clearer way forward.
We work closely with clients to understand the business need, identify the right next step and build a system that is useful, reliable and maintainable.
Today, this often means websites, web applications, SaaS products, CMS platforms and digital improvements. Over time, it can extend into connected workflows, automation and carefully implemented AI.
Our ambition is not simply to deliver projects. It is to help businesses build stronger digital foundations and become a trusted technology partner as their needs evolve.
Founder-led by design

Softblue is led by Peter Son, an Auckland-based web developer with professional experience building websites, ecommerce experiences and web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Shopify and modern CMS platforms.
Every project receives direct technical involvement, clear communication and careful attention to implementation quality.
Softblue is currently structured as a focused founder-led studio, with project scope and delivery planned carefully around the expertise required.
